Kids, Cops & Christmas 2024

We’re excited to partner with state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies from across Rhode Island to collect donations of toys and gifts to help families in Rhode Island through the Kids, Cops, and Christmas campaign.

We’re collecting toys and gifts for children of all ages and will be distributing them through social service agencies across the state. We’re asking Rhode Islanders to donate new toys, undergarments, socks, coats, hats, scarves, and mittens in sizes from infant to teens as well as gift cards valued at $25 or less.

The Rhode Island State Police, Rhode Island State Police Museum and Education Center, Department of Public Safety, the Office of the U.S. Attorney, and the Office of the Rhode Island Attorney General will accept donations at all State Police barracks locations (Lincoln, Scituate, Wickford, Hope Valley), Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses locations, and Ocean State Job Lot locations from now until December 16, 2024. These will be distributed to local agencies that work with disadvantaged families throughout the state.

Toys will be given to these organizations for distribution:

  • A Children's Friend
  • The African Alliance
  • Chad Brown Alumni Association
  • Community Angels
  • Connecting for Children & Families
  • Crossroads Rhode Island
  • Center for Southeast Asians
  • East Bay Community Action Program
  • Family Service of Rhode Island
  • Glad Tidings Community Church
  • The Hispanic Ministerial Association of Rhode Island
  • The Multi-Cultural Center for All
  • The Mount Hope Neighborhood Association
  • Narragansett Indian Tribe

The Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization and all monetary donations can be made using Venmo: @RISPMuseum and should be noted as a donation for Kids, Cops, and Christmas. Corporate contributions are also welcome.

Donations will also be collected at the annual “Santa at the Museum” event at the Rhode Island State Police Museum & Educational Center, 311 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, on Sunday, December 15, from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m.
