Kids, Cops & Christmas 2021

We’re excited to partner with law enforcement agencies from across Rhode Island on Kids, Cops & Christmas 2021. We’re working with Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation, the Department of Public Safety, the Rhode Island Troopers Association, the Office of the U.S. Attorney, the Office of the Rhode Island Attorney General and the Rhode Island Police Chiefs’ Association to collect toys and gifts from now until December 15th.

We’re seeking donations of new, unwrapped gifts and gift cards with a value of $25 or less. The gifts will be given to children from toddlers through teens and distributed through these organizations: Wiggin Village, Crossroads Rhode Island; Family Service of Rhode Island; A Children’s Friend; the Hispanic Ministerial Association of Rhode Island; Multi-Cultural Center for All; the Mount Hope Neighborhood Association; the Center for Southeast Asians; the African Alliance; and the Chad Brown Alumni Association. Toy donations can be brought to any Rhode Island State Police Barracks and will also be collected at the following public events:

  • State House Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting. Stuff-a-Cruiser at the State House on Thursday, December 2 at 5p.m. Every child who donates a toy will be entered into a raffle to win a scooter.
  • Santa at the Museum. The Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation is hosting photos with Santa on Saturday, December 4 from 10a.m. to 2p.m. In addition to toys, donations of new undergarments, socks, coats, hats, scarves or mittens in infant to teen sizes will be accepted and distributed.

In addition to accepting toy donations, the Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation will be raising funds through Facebook to distribute to community organizations. To donate online, click here or locate the Kids, Cops & Christmas fundraiser on the Rhode Island State Police Facebook page. The Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Facebook pays all the processing fees, so 100% of each donation goes directly to Kids, Cops & Christmas. Corporate contributions and donations made by check are welcome.
