Rhode Island State Police Citizens Academy

The Rhode Island State Police Citizens Academy offers participants a unique opportunity to become familiar with the operations, policies, and practices of the Rhode Island State Police. During the 6-week program, participants will get a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the Rhode Island State Police and experience some of the rigorous training that prepares Troopers for their jobs. The purpose of the program is to strengthen our relationship with the people we serve by fostering better communication and sharing a deeper understanding of the challenges and demands associated with law enforcement.
