The Rhode Island State Fusion Center is the point for the receipt, analysis, gathering, and sharing of threat-related information between federal; state, local, tribal, territorial (SLTT); and private sector partners. The Fusion Center is committed to enhancing information sharing in an effort to enhance homeland security.

If you are witnessing activity that may require police, fire, or medical response, please call 9-1-1 immediately. If you have witnessed suspicious activity that did not pose an immediate threat, please report suspicious behavior to the Fusion Center.

What you report when contacting law enforcement or the Fusion Center is critical. You must describe specifically what you observed, including:

  • Who or what you saw;
  • When you saw it;
  • Where it occurred; and
  • Why it's suspicious.
